Scott S McCoy is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer with over 22 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. He is currently working at Quantcast, where he spends 25% of his time in the Seattle office. Scott has made significant contributions to the company's revolutionary technology, Kamke, which is now used to power all core insights products offered by Quantcast. Scott has overseen the implementation of the redesign of the RTB stack's central domain model and various systems across a large number of teams, helping to troubleshoot integration challenges and reduce the cost of modeling experiments by allowing model changes to be configuration driven alone. He has also made individual contributions and provided guidance in reducing bottom line costs for the RTB stack, yielding an over 50% reduction in 2019 alone. In addition to his work at Quantcast, Scott has also played key roles in the development of Audience Grid and the Quantified Development Process, which was used to shift the focus and operating method of the entire publisher engineering organization. He has also created an R&D project called Kamke, which is a ground-up information retrieval system optimized for the efficiency of NVMe devices and vectorized computation.
